Description: Responsible for growing the sale of C-Byte products and services through channel partners (such as software associates and systems integrators). Serves as a key interface point between C-Byte end-user Sales Management, and Global Channels. Educates partners on C-Byte's fit for their business and the beneficial synergies of our mutual customers using C-Byte's product and service offerings. Develops and maintains relationships with assigned partners and where appropriate train partner resources on C-Byte offerings. Assists channel partners in prospect qualification, business and marketing planning and communication with end users. Participates with channel partner at key meetings, events and conferences to display and promote joint C-Byte and partner offerings. Arranges, facilitates and coordinates meetings and communications between C-Byte and channel partners.

Position Duties: As a Partner Account Manager this person will be responsible for managing a key strategic partner PeopleSoft, and other ISV's. Duties include working closely with the field and product marketing to determine requirements and deliver on the required corporate alliances. The individual is also responsible for effective communication between partners and C-Byte field organizations, and driving the management of interfaces between C-Byte and the partner. Other duties include: Developing and facilitating active C-Byte Partners; Ensuring 'good business practices' are maintained between C-Byte and Partners; Establishing and maintaining superlative professional relationships with Operations, Marketing and Sales; Communication and promotion to the C-Byte field regarding partners.

Requires a B.S. degree or equivalent with a minimum of 6 years of marketing and/or direct major account sales experience computer systems preferably with channel partners. Knowledge of open systems marketplace, solutions selling, 'best in class' partner management and marketing programs, and the ability to think strategically as well as implement at the tactical level and interact with the highest levels of customer organizations is strongly desired.
