Guidelines And Process for Grant Request

Each year, the C-Byte Foundation selects a few non-profit organizations for grants; these organizations provide programs for children that are preventative in nature. The programs are aimed at building self esteem and motivating children to finish school and break the negative cycle for “at risk” children. The Foundation prefers to fund targeted programs rather than make grants to the general operating funds of the requesting organization. As a rule, The Foundation does not sponsor events, fund capital expansion programs or sponsor tables at events.

The C-Byte Foundation meets quarterly to consider grant requests from non-profit organizations. The C-Byte Foundation targets its funds for children's programs in four areas:
* Civic/Fine & Performing Arts
* Education
* Environmental
* Health & Human Services

A grant request to the C-Byte Foundation should consist of the following items:
* Purpose and history of the organization
* Expected results of the program funding
* List of representative contributors
* Copy of Tax Exempt Letter
* Specific use for requested funding
* List of directors, officers or trustees
* Current and prior years' budgets

The C-Byte Foundation does not have a grant form; requests should be made in letter form (along with the above mentioned items). Complete grant requests may be considered and voted upon at the next regularly scheduled meeting of the C-Byte Foundation Board of Directors.

Requests may be mailed to:
